Institut FON Logopedics
Science: At the institute research projects are conducted which build a bridge between medical and sociological research questions since 2004.
Art: At the institute interdisciplinary culture-projects are conceptualized and conducted which target to improve perception in our society.
Therapy: The therapeutic work is dedicated to logopaedic disorders among children and adults, mentally caused hearing disorders as well as mental disorders caused by hearing disorder.

Hörstadt – The Hearing City
PETER ANDROSCH (* 1963) lives as a composer, musician, artist, researcher, writer, and lecturer in Linz. Works in the fields of music theater, orchestra-, chamber-, stage-, ballet-, choral-, and film-music, as well as electroacoustic Work. As a musical director of “Linz 2009 culture capital Europe” he founded HÖRSTADT – the Hearing City -, which he directs to this day.
HÖRSTADT is a laboratory for acoustics, space and company. Active regionally, nationally and internationally HÖRSTADT developed acoustics space planning as a new discipline. The key objective is a humane design of the acoustic environment. The fields of action are: research; teachings, consulting of organizations and public institutions, political, cultural and artistic projects.

Institute Cultur Prospectiv
The Institute devotes itself to themes of space/room, culture and communication with a focus towards tones and sounds in our modern society from a cultural sociological perspective. The institute looks back on large projects in the area of noise research and is an active consultant for noise issues (e.g. airport region Canton of Zurich).
In the near future innovative approaches for designing urban space and quarters are in the foreground to promote well-being and identities. The director of the institute is Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Meier-Dallach.

Institute for empirical Psychology (IfeP)
The Institute for empirical psychology (IfeP) conducts health science studies and developmental-psychological studies, e.g. hearing ability of children in cooperation with universities or others as well as commercial principals.
The connection with his affiliate psychological practice, an establishment for psychotherapy and coaching, enables an effective interplay between individual- and social-psychological perspectives and strategies.
The institute is under the direction of Dr.rer.nat. Gero Kerig.

Institiute of Ortofonologia (IdO)
IdO, operating since 1970, is a center for diagnosis, treatment and clinical research on relational and communication disorders. IdO is accredited by the Ministry of Education for the training of school personnel, doctors and psychologists.
Since January 2001 IdO is accredited by the Region Lazio and it is part of the state run health care for rehabilitation services for people with mental, physical and sensory disabilities.
IdO is also involved in the prevention of youth problems through actions and Councelling cell in schools to support teachers, pupils and parents.
The director of the institute is Federico Bianchi di Castelbianco.
